|  | It was so bloody hot today! OMG. The moment I stepped out of the shower I started perspiring. Wtf. Impromptu trip to Sentosa for some sun and water. I think I'm burnt now. Knn. Anyways, even the WATER was warm!!! No amount of ice cold BEER can quench this kinda thirst in this kinda heat! Bah. |
| | Post major-walkabout at Chinatown, we settled down for dinner at Spizza at Club St., where we had a great meal of full-on carbo! Heh.
Even after last night's beer at Robertson, we ended up at Article for more drinks tonight. Artery definitely was not Fuse, which is non-existent anyways. Heh.

the past two weeks have been tumultuous to say that least. not in my life, although much's changed and also left unchanged.
as a woman, what does it mean to love? to find a mate? to be with that single person in the whole world who's really part of our jigsaw puzzle? so many things are transient in life. friends, partners, plans, events, feelings, things, money... so how can we be sure that this is the one person? i agree that nobody is indispensable in this world. but with these people around us - people whom we truly want to be with - life will be much more fun, with this much more joy: making everything this much easier. isn't what we all seek simply happiness? so if happiness means to allow friends to be who they are, to simply accept that so much of life is not within our control, or to simply be content with your lot, why struggle against it all?
we all make choices; about what we want, what we pursue, what something means to us, what we wanna hear, what we wanna believe in... with so many choices, if we can't come to terms with that we are human and thus, err, how can you live within your own skin and still be comfortable?
mistakes are what we view them to be.
lessons are what we should see.

| | Post superb-dinner at Nirai Kanai, the trio of Ting, Leighton and I went off in search of good booze and even better views at Clarke Quay. Oh wells, the booze was alright, but the views were lacklustre. So... Lala. |

| | It's a full day of activities today! All in the name of celebrating Pins' 27th year on earth! Heh. We managed to spring a surprise party for him at McD's - organised by Sherms and Pins' Mommy - which led to so much fun with the little ones! Heh. Headed down to town for a movie (The Mummy REALLY sucks!!!!) and some r&r - read: BEEEEEEEER!!!! - on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Wootilicious! Of course, we ended off with more beer and a super-fillin' meal at Newton Circus. Heh. |
